Raise Money for UC Health Memorial Hospital Foundation Circle of Hope Fund for Oncology Patients
Grab your friends, family, and co-workers and join us for this fun competitive wine tasting event.
So how does a competitive wine tasting event work exactly?
The goal is to bring the best tasting wine! Each team of 1-3 players brings 3 identical bottles of wine – same vintage, same year. Every team brings the same varietal. For this event, it’s PINOT GRIGIO.
On arrival, each team turns in their bottles of wine. We’ll open, number, and disguise two, and place them out for tasting. The third bottle is set aside for prize distribution at the end of the evening. Over the course of the evening, you’ll enjoy tasting several different versions of the same varietal of wine while munching on light hors d’oeuvres and critiquing the wines with your friends. At the end of the night, you’ll vote for your most and least favorite wines.
And here’s the best part. If your team brought the wine with the most votes, you get to take the bottles we set aside home! Except the one LEAST liked – the team that brought that has to take it back with them. If it is a large event, the top 1-3 teams may split the wine.
So that’s it. Here’s a great opportunity to have some fun with your friends, taste some great wines, and raise some funds for charity.

5:00pm – 6:20pm Taste & Critique the Wines / Snack on Light Hors D’ Oeuvres
6 :20pm Ballots Handed Out
6:30pm – 6:40pm Ballots Collected for Best/Worst Wine Vote
6:50pm Winning / Losing Team(s) Announced

We donate our planning and logistic services to help create this fun and lively money-maker. It’s how Flock Events LLC gives back to our community. We will partner with any nonprofit throughout the front range, not just Colorado Springs.
This is a competitive wine tasting event bringing wine lovers, community members, non-profit partners & volunteers together for a wonderfully fun event where the stress isn’t on you to plan every last detail. That’s our job!
